Kodak's Professional Portra 160 is a 35mm, daylight-balanced, color negative film. Its colors are natural, with medium saturation and leaning towards lower contrast like its sister films, Portra 400 and 800. It is a sharp film with a fine T-GRAIN structure, which make it well-suited for scanning. If you do not need the extra speed that Portra 400 provides, Portra 160 will give you a cleaner and sharper image with similar tonality. If you are shooting portraits, event, or commercial photography, and you don’t need a high-speed film, you will not be disappointed with this film.
