The α6700 features a new AE algorithm, developed for full-frame models, to detect faces and adjust exposure accurately. It maintains realistic colours under various lighting conditions, from sunlight to artificial lights, and produces natural skin tones and vibrant colours in landscapes.

5-axis optical image stabilization
Shoot confidently, even in low light, with the five-axis in-body optical image stabilisation. It compensates for different types of camera shake, including angular shake, providing up to 5 stops of shake compensation.
Precise compensation at the single-pixel level
The α6700 offers precise detection and control down to the single-pixel level, making the most of its 26.0-megapixel resolution to capture all the fine details.
Selectable RAW file types and quality
The α6700 supports compressed RAW and lossless compressed RAW formats, providing efficient compression and high-quality images in continuous bursts. It also offers a new Light image quality option for JPEG and HEIF images.
HEIF: High compression with excellent image quality
The α6700 is the first APS-C camera to include the HEIF (High Efficiency Image File) format. HEIF offers smooth 10-bit gradations and uses advanced compression to reduce file sizes while maintaining image quality.

The α6700’s powerful BIONZ XR engine and large buffer memory allow it to shoot over 1,000 JPEG images, up to 59 compressed RAW images, or up to 23 lossless compressed RAW images in high-speed bursts.
Full-Time DMF
When shooting stills with AF-C or AF-S, you can instantly switch to manual focus mode by rotating the lens’s focus ring, making it easy to adjust focus on the fly.

The α6700 can automatically shoot up to 299 images with sequentially shifted focus points, allowing you to select the perfect shot or create depth-of-field composites in post-processing.

High frame rate 4K 120p (100p) recording
Record high-resolution 4K movies at up to 120p, allowing for smooth slow-motion effects or quick motion sequences. The S and Q mode also enables in-camera recording of slow or quick motion.
