Create Beautiful 360-Degree Soft Light with One Light Source
The portable 20” Rapid Box Switch Lantern creates soft, omnidirectional light with even coverage for a variety of video and photography applications. Designed for overhead lighting and raising ambient light levels, this China Ball style softbox illuminates large rooms, table scenes, cyc walls, and more using one light source. Its shadow-absorbing fill light provides a wider light spread compared to square and octagonal softboxes that are more directional.

This collapsible white globe-shaped light modifier is constructed with a solid metal framework and heat-resistant fabrics with sealable venting for years of use in the field. This design minimizes weight and makes setup a breeze in less than a minute. After your shoot, the Beauty Dish breaks down quickly for storage and transport in the included carry case.
Premium Diffusion & Reflective Fabrics
The collapsible Switch Lantern is constructed with a built-in black collar and highly reflective interior with an all-natural, unbleached nylon fabric exterior. Unlike processed diffusion fabrics, the Switch Lantern’s 1-stop diffusion fabric will soften your light source without altering its color temperature. A removable black dot is also included to eliminate hotspots and protect the lantern during setup.
Interchangeable Mounts for Popular Lights
This lantern softbox is designed with a quick-release thumb lock for quickly changing Switch Inserts (sold separately) for mounting strobes, speedlites, and constant lights. These interchangeable light mounts allow you to attach your light to any Switch light modifier in an instant. Simply slide the durable, all-metal adapter into the lantern’s rear tabs and secure it in place with the thumb lock.
